"And the day came when the risk to remain tight inthe bud was more painful than the risk to blossom"
-Anaïs Nin

Therapy is the collaborative process between a therapist and a client that helps alleviate emotional pain and problematic behaviors, heal relationships and improve life satisfaction.  The therapist provides a non-judgmental and supportive space, and the client shares his or her unique thoughts and experiences.  The therapist offers interventions, support, new ideas, alternative perspectives and wisdom to resolve symptoms and heal personal issues.

The source of personal conflict and therapeutic focus is different for everyone.  Therapy goals may be about changing behavior, understanding feelings or improving relationships.

Most people who struggle to begin therapy ultimately enjoy the process of becoming more self-aware, and are thankful they embarked on this journey.  Therapy helps people of all backgrounds and cultures live more effective, healthy and happy lives.
